At the beginning of this month, popular rising producer k?d dropped his first single of 2018 called “Glass.” Almost instantly, comments began flooding in mentioning an apparent similarity to Madeon’s “Technicolor” and a couple days later, the song was taken down.
Whether the similarity was there or not – and it was, albeit not to any criminal degree, and only slight in nature – the effect on k?d was obviously apparent.
Today, k?d shared a photo of a DM he received from Madeon in which the French producer expressed concern and sympathy for the comments he was receiving. 
“Hey! I saw you deleted your song ‘Glass,’ I hope it’s not because of the comments I’ve seen people make regarding Technicolor […] I don’t think the similarity is that striking.”
It’s the little things these bigger artists do that shows how much they care. Hopefully k?d will reupload “Glass” soon because it was really good!
