Ray Volpe Drops Old School-Style Remix Of DJ Snake’s “A Different Way”

Leave it to the young kids to keep the old styles alive, eh?

Ray Volpe has just come out with a massive remix to DJ Snake’s “A Different Way” that will have the 2011-2013 era purists rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. Think about the best hits from Must Die!, Flux Pavilion, Emalkay, Bar9, etc., all of the UKF Dubstep all stars, and Ray fits right in.

Truly massive saws and punchy kicks permeate the track with some pretty incredible low end, as well, made special for the true bassheads. Even Lauv’s generally innocent vocals seem to fit right in with the unrelenting raw audio assault.

Don’t take our word for it, though. Jump right in below!

  1. I don’t. I actually like this. I can vibe with this. I can completely understand that not everyone will like dubstep / brostep / riddim / whatever people are calling it these days. Maybe it’s just good to listen to something different outside of all the thousands of big-room / psy-trance / future bass tracks out there. I’ve been a big fan of dubstep music for quite a long time (I sometimes produce it as well).

Again, if you’re not a big fan of dubstep, don’t listen to it. At the very least, just try and have a listen to at least one decent track.
