Pioneer’s New DDJ-1000 Controller Has The Look & Feel Of Club Standard CDJs

Pioneer just introduced its new DDJ-1000 controller — a hybrid between the signature DDJ layout and the flagship industry standard CDJ and DJM combined.

As far as we can tell, this is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to be comfortable enough to perform on CDJs, but currently only has the budget for a controller. Some of the DDJ-1000’s best features include an all-new LCD jog display, club-style layout, improved Magvel Fader, brand new FX (including color FX), and 16 performance pads.

The Rekordbox DJ ready DDJ-1000 sets itself apart with a polished yet portable design, featuring full-sized jogs and jog adjust for a perfect scratch response, key shift and key match, making mixing more harmonious than ever before, a page feature for even more hot cues, and 4 inputs for ultimate flexibility. Seamlessly hook up the  DDJ-1000 to CDJs, turntables, or a mixer and the possibilities are endless.

Pioneer’s DDJ-1000 looks to be versatile, portable, durable, and the best new all-in-one system for beginners and professional DJs alike. Watch the official introduction below and check out all the specs here.

The DDJ-1000 will run you $1,466 USD and will be available for purchase later this month.
