The nominations are in for Britian’s equivalent of the Grammy awards — and pop stars Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran lead the pack.
The 2018 Brit Awards go down Februray 21st at London’s iconic O2 Arena. With other high profile acts like Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Calvin Harris, The Killers and Drake also nominated, it will be undoubtedly a star-studded event spanning a wide variety of genres and an insane amount of talent.
Lipa, best known for “New Rules,” has five total nominations for British breakthrough artist, British female solo artist, British album of the year, British single and British artist video of the year. The “Shape of You” singer/songwriter is nominated for four including British male solo artist, British album of the year, British single and British artist video of the year. This comes as his album Multiply dominated the charts in 2017.
