Kyle Watson – Pop Up/Camouflage Cat (This Ain’t Bristol)

Hailing from South Africa, Kyle Watson is one of the hottest rising names in the house community. Already receiving praise from names like Billy Kenny, Oliver Heldens and more, Watson is gearing up for his biggest year yet. Teaming with house heavy tastemakers and label This Ain’t Bristol, Watson starts of 2018 right with his two track EP “Pop Up/Camouflage Cat” which is absolutely mad.

Kicking off with “Pop Up” which features elements of bass hits, progressive style pads, tech house wobbles and all around house-goodness, “Pop Up” instantly gets you in a dancing mood. With deep and soulful vocal hits and a consistent rhythm, you gain an instant feel for Watson’s sound and style. Transitioning onto his 2nd track, “Camouflage Cat,” you’ll be ready to hit the dance floor with this dark and haunting house style track which incorporates orchestral bliss with an all around high energy beat. Kicking off with emotional strings and foreshadowing foley effects, you’re quickly dragged into a dark and deep house style hit that will have you dreaming about dimly lit clubs with a drink in hand.

Displaying two different atmospheres, Kyle Watson has us absolutely floored with this new house classic which plays with both our upbeat dancing side and our dark, mysterious tech persona. You can check out the EP below and make sure to catch him on his upcoming tour here.
