Though not one of our 40 artists to watch in 2018, if the list had extended to 50 or even 45 artists, Khamsin would have made the cut. As one of the members of supergroup Slow Hours, Khamsin has shown himself to go above and beyond the call of duty in production.
Khamsin has just released a new track with Anuka entitled “Second Guess” which could be our favorite track of 2018 so far. Anuka’s vocals alone are nearly enough to warrant such a statement, but the production of the track is bold and incredibly striking, as well. The focal point is undoubtedly the vibrant and crunchy guitar riffs that give so much texture and color to the track. It’s absolutely anthemic in its presentation and we have this on repeat.
