Lil Peep‘s legacy lives on through a new collaboration with Marshmello…
Just a little over two months ago, Marsh and the rest of the music industry went into shock over the rapper’s sudden and tragic death. With this bittersweet track, we’re finally able to hear that Marshmello x Lil Peep collaboration they had been in talks about.
The producer just shared the album art, revealing “Spotlight” as Lil Peep’s first post-humous track. He also uploaded a brief clip of the track and the lyrics hit close to home — Now you’re gone, I can’t believe it. 
“I cant even believe this. We were just talking last week about working on a song together and now you’re gone. You will be missed, R.I.P.” Marshmello was among one of the first to send condolences following Lil Peep’s passing.
“Peep was the nicest person. hanging out with him, talking to him about music, the song ideas we were going to do together and touring was so amazing. Everyone will miss you man.”
“Spotlight” officially drops this Friday. RIP, Peep.
