House music has been missing Disclosure and thankfully the duo just shared a revealing post promising a third full length album is in the works!
Apparently their journey as curators for Wild Life Fest, along with close friends Rudimental, has taken them away from producing music as much as they used to — but that’s about to change. Disclosure is actually putting the festival on hold in 2018 so they can follow through with their third album.
Disclosure opens up on their decision in the post below:
Being able to curate your own festival with your mates and invite legends like Nas, Ice Cube and Chaka Khan to play alongside amazing new talent such as Stormzy, Kaytranada and AJ Tracy, stack them up against a host of flawless DJ’s like Annie Mac, Jackmaster and Armand Van Helden and throw parties with Elrow is literally a dream come true.
This is the part fans can get excited for:
However, with a busy recording schedule ahead as we embark on album number 3 we’re going to give the green grass of Shoreham Airport a break throughout 2018 and come back bigger and better in 2019. Thanks to everyone who attended the festival these last three years and gave us some of the best times we’ve ever had as Disclosure, we’re hugely thankful for the opportunity to share that with you, see you all soon.
This can’t be an easy decision to make, but it’s never a good thing to bite off more than can be chewed. This way, Disclosure can put thoughtful time into both their music and the return of the festival when they are ready.
