Welcome to the final monthly recap for 2017 before we collectively put our heads together and share the Year In Music playlist we’ve been working on the for the last few weeks now. Pryda snags the cover role with new single “Stay With Me” while Axwell Λ Ingrosso, San Holo, Kaskade and more all dropped larger projects.
Release Spotlight
Eric Prydz releases a new single “Stay With Me” on side-project Pryda. It’s the first track he’s dropped with that alias all year since “Lillo” around this time last year.
Martin Garrix and David Guetta teamed up to create the sure-bet dance-pop hit “So Far Away” with Jamie Scott and Romy Dya as well.
Axwell Λ Ingrosso repackaged all of their material into an anthology album More Than You Know with just one new single in the controversial “Dreamer.”
San Holo gives back with a short-experimental EP that harkens back to his more experimental days of old. A welcome sight for the older fans indeed.
Kaskade also dropped a thirteen-track Christmas-themed album Kaskade Christmas. Check out his collaboration with long-time friends Late Night Alumni, “Christmas Is Here.”
