With all of the major stores all but closed till the first two weeks of January there hasn’t be all that much new music to write home about from the big players in EDM besides a slew of remixes. Thankfully, this gives us a great chance to show some of our favourite smaller gems of the last two weeks that might not have made it onto a regularly programmed edition of Your EDM’s Week In Music.
Release Spotlight
Remix Watch: This week seemed to be the big week of remixes with Alan Walker, Lido (x2), Le Youth and more all dropping remixes. On the other side, Autograf, Weezer, Robin Schulz, Dillon Francis, R3hab and more all got remixed. 
Monstercat is having its artist-VIP week with a bunch of the year’s hits given ‘remixes’ by their original creators. KUURO and Pegboard Nerds are among the first two artists to drop theirs, keep on the look out for more.
Madison Mars dropped a new banger in “Magneto.” Just in time for all of the end of year festivals no less!
Two Friends also put out a new one in “Just A Kid” while involved some heartwarming philanthropic gestures from the LA-based duo.
