Your EDM’s Top 10 Albums Of 2017

It’s impossible to compile a complete list of all the albums that were released in 2017 – between indie producers, Bandcamp-only albums, major artists and others, it’s just too many for one man to keep track of. That being said, we do try to stay apprised of as many major and minor releases as we can, and there were quite a few this year.

Calvin Harris released a new album, remember that? So did Galantis, and Goldfish, and Com Truise, and Pierce Fulton, and Rezz, and Mayhem, and Phuture Doom, and AC Slater, and Dubloadz, and Troyboi, and Vaski… okay, we’re going to stop there before this becomes insufferable. But, you get the point.

Narrowing down this year’s album list to just our top 10 was no easy task, but we managed. And as far as criteria for choosing the albums, we looked at a lot of factors including originality and quality of production, but ultimately it came down to the albums that we could feel comfortable listening to over and over again without getting tired.

We’ve been teasing our Top 10 albums on Twitter for the past couple weeks or so, but we can finally reveal our #1 album of 2017 is Petit Biscuit’s Presence.

See our full list below.
