On Friday, Axwell Λ Ingrosso put out their new single “Dreamer” and subsequently let down thousands of their fans across the globe hoping that the new single would see the duo revert back to their progressive house roots. Instead, what they got was a watered-down pop and ‘future bass’ hybrid in what was all in all, a fairly poor record.
Well, we’re guessing Axwell took the criticism fairly personally because he responded on social media. 
Perhaps, what riled the fans the most was the fact that this song actually started out as an original progressive house version and that the final product looks like a radio-catered money grab. Who knows?

No Axwell, you are out of touch. This isn’t Top 40 radio and we the people who have supported you all of these years paying outrageous prices to “perform” live, yeah right, can quickly kick you to the curb as fast as we embraced you. Show a little respect and release the non-commercial version.
I’m not even a progressive fan and I think the first version is waaay better. second one sounds like everything else on the radio
