Your EDM Premiere: Break Science – Lift Ourselves Above [BIG BEAT IGNITION: Denver]

Big Beat Ignition is a new series from label Big Beat that aims to highlights a selection of regionally relevant electronic and dance music from around the world – prior releases have come from Amsterdam, Paris and Ibiza, and the label has hand-picked all unreleased records for the latest installment, DENVER.

Each region’s music has its own unique identity, and Denver is no different. All of the tracks are 420 friendly and waiting for you to spark one up, including this chill and trippy jawn from Break Science, “Lift Ourselves Above.”

There’s a hefty old-school Pretty Lights vibe present throughout the production in here, presenting a sort of electronica jam sesh feeling, something that all the artists on PLF are fairly well-known for. In fact, both members of Break Science have played with the Pretty Lights Band at one point or another.

“Lift Ourselves Above” is accompanied by a video as trippy as the music, created by students at UC Denver. Check all that out below – the full Big Beat Ignition: Denver album will be out December 21.

More so than just the music, all of the visuals for the music were created by students at UC Denver.

Special Thanks to these UC Denver students & their Professor Eric Hewett:
Trevor Mckenna, Patrick Jorgenson, Brandon Keller, Benito Roland, Niko Sotolongo
