It’s been over a year since Porter Robinson & Madeon’s “Shelter” was first released, so to release a remix of it now seems just a little odd. However, as an artist, when you have that creative itch to make something, sometimes you just have to scratch it.
The latest remix of “Shelter” comes from Jaykode; normally known for his wild trap bangers, he’s taken the more chill route with this latest remix. I absolutely love this version of the track because it’s just so much slower than any others that have been released, and it really accentuates the melodic and ballad-like nature of the original.
The use of hard 808s next to a slow, captivating rhythm makes for an interesting juxtaposition that we really just can’t get enough of. Check it out below and grab your free download here.
