Valentino Khan & Sean Paul‘s “Gold” is a shining example of how good dance music can and should make you feel!
The island vibes of “Gold” come alive in the music video, recently shot in Jamacia. The storyline follows a golden boy who wishes on a star, only to be launched into superstardom himself. He unexpectedly begins dripping in gold, only to be weighted down by his golden chains and the consequences of his 15 minutes of fame.
In the end, everything turns out just as it should — because this is a feel good song and there’s simply no room for negativity. 
Valentino Khan recently shared with us his inspiration behind “Gold” and how it was working with Sean Paul (full interview here): “I wanted to make something that was really like, a good vibe record — danceable and kind of revisit a little bit of the moombahton sound that I started out with. It was cool to be able to do that and work with a legendary artist like Sean Paul, who is incredibly talented in studio both as a vocalist and a writer.”
