Last we heard of the Marshmello and Migos collaboration “Danger,” it was coming out as part of the soundtrack to the Netflix original movie Bright, starring Will Smith, Joe Edgerton and more. The release date for the full soundtrack is December 15, but we had a sneaking suspicion that we’d get the mello single earlier than that.
That suspicion was confirmed this morning by Marshmello, who tweeted out, “New music coming next week… me and @Migos got something for you.”
Much like Marshmello’s recent collaboration with Selena Gomez, in which Gomez’ pop sensibilities far outweighed Marshmello’s EDM origins, the Migos collaboration is heavily, heavily weighted in Migos’ favor. The video below shows the music video for the track already being filmed, with a preview of the song.
