KSHMR’s New Collab Has Us Wishing It Was Festival Season All Over Again [LISTEN]

New Music Friday has blessed us with the latest from KSHMR and R3hab — and it’s absolutely amazing!

From the same collaborative pair that brought us “Strong” and “Karate” we now have “Islands.” It’s a true festival anthem meant for the mainstage, but in the off season it will play out just as well at a show, through your speakers or in your headphones.

Running with the upbeat nature heard in all of their tracks together, KSHMR and R3hab go a little more futuristic pop than straight up banger with this one. Heavenly synths and emotional melodies play out beautifully, and it’s clear R3hab and KSHMR have their formula down to a science.

Even as the vocalist focuses on time wasted and a relationship that’s done for, “Islands” has an optimistic vibe and an infectious drop that are truly something to look forward to every time we hit play.

Listen to “Islands” here and let us know what you think!
