Art Basel, the international art fair based in Miami, Florida, has become iconic. While art may be the fair’s focal point, music plays a big part as well. Each year promoters bring big talent to Miami during Art Basel, and this year is no exception. One event in particular stands out for bringing a top tier lineup to a beloved venue.
Rakastella, the brainchild behind some of the leading forces in underground dance music and Miami event organizers and promoters, is that stand-out event. Innversions, the label founded by Dixon and Âme, and Life and Death, the label run by DJ Tennis, have come together to co-host Rakastella. Also, Miami event organizers PL0T, Secret Garden and Where Are My Keys?, Miami club The Electric Pickle and New York production company MATTE co-host the event.
To sweeten the deal, Rakastella will take place at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, offering guests scenic views on the beach. Rakastella’s lineup itself brings a who’s who of underground dance music’s biggest names. These names include the aforementioned label bosses Dixon, Âme—in the form of a rare b2b set between both members—and DJ Tennis. Plus, guests can watch performances from the likes of Octo Octa, DJ Koze, Mano Le Tough and Red Axes to name just a few. 
Rakastella will be held on Saturday, December 9. Tickets are selling out quickly, but Your EDM has partnered with Rakastella to give a winner a pair of two passes.
