The Chainsmokers have partnered with the popular dating app Bumble to help engage college students through social networking and music!
In a unique Bumble Beats experience at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX, swipes to the right were met with instructions on how to win tickets to see The Chainsmokers live in concert. Those who cracked geo-targeted codes through Bumble dating, Bumble BFF, or Bumble Bizz even got the chance to meet the famous EDM/pop duo!
The Chainsmokers, comprised of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, surprised students with a meet and greet, took photos, passed out swag, and connected with fans on a very real level on the college campus. One of the 1,000 lucky ticket winners even had the opportunity to introduce the duo before they took the stage.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with them and continuing to find new and innovative ways to engage with our amazing fans,” The Chainsmokers jointly remarked.
Bumble Beats will continue expanding to universities across the country, giving students the chance to win the ultimate surprise of tickets to their favorite concerts, delivered by the artists themselves. Be on the lookout for hidden music surprises and opportunities on the Bumble app!
