With What So Not’s debut album coming in 2018, we have to ask with every new single, “Is this going to be on the album?” While we’re not sure about the latest, “Be Ok Again” is still a phenomenal track in WSN’s repertoire and we’re happy it’s finally released.
With Daniel Johns of Australian rock band Silverchair on vocal duty, What So Not was able to achieve a childhood dream of collaborating with one of his favorite artists. WSN says, “Be Ok Again was a really personal track for me. I was kind of embarrassed to show someone of [Johns’] calibre as I had written and sung my own topline to feel out the idea. To my surprise, he loved it & not only was he happy to re-sing my parts, he encouraged me to keep my voice on the record.”
