Every winter, fans of Excision wait eagerly for another annual mix from the bass titan himself. This year, the Rottun Records boss presents the first of his Lost Lands mixes, which follows on from his previous Shambhala series. Alongside the mammoth mix and a compilation album which highlights his skills as a taste-maker, Excision releases a new single titled ‘Hoods Up.’
A gritty collaboration with fellow label associate Dion Timmer, this floor-thumping sound features the rich, rolling tones of MC Messinian on vocal duties. If your Tuesday needed a bit of a kick, look no further than this insane tune from one of the kings of dubstep.
