A survivor of the horrific Las Vegas shooting has passed away in another unfortunate tragedy…
Roy McClellan, a 52-year-old Las Vegas resident, died while attempting to hitchhike on State Route 160 in Pahrump, about 50 miles west of the city. He was struck by a vehicle and killed in a crime labeled as a hit-and-run on November 19.
Nevada Highway Patrol are still seeking the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro with front-end damage, which could lead them to the suspect at large.
The widow to Roy, Denise McClellan told local news outlet KSNV-TV that the mass shooting was “messing with his head” and he was seeking therapy leading up to his death. She’s struggling to understand why her husband survived the mass shooting only to be killed a short time later.
“I’m angry. I feel that [the driver] was under the influence of something or drunk and didn’t want to get caught, so he bailed and left my husband laying there in the street. He doesn’t deserve that,” McClellan told the station.
