After teasing fans for some time, Selena Gomez and Marshmello have finally released their official music video for “Wolves” on Vevo!
The hit song is visually represented in a gorgeously shot video, in which Selena belts out the lyrics to what she considers one of her most personal songs yet. She deliberately slinks around a deserted indoor pool, wearing a number of striking fashions while harmoniously sharing the screen with water-based imagery.
Opening lines like “in your eyes, there’s a heavy blue” and “water or wine, don’t make me choose” draw intentional comparisons to the water she dances around. Though Marshmello lets the pop star run wild with her own vision for “Wolves,” his famous helmet still makes a brief cameo in the music video.
