California duo Slander have been known for their mixture of melodic qualities combined with heavy hitting bass tunes to showcase both their lighter and darker tendencies in their music. Known for their “heaven trap” style, the pair have continued to build a loyal following off releases alongside Kayzo, Yookie and more in the last year. Now, they’re taking on one of hip hop’s hottest acts with their emotional take of Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart.”
Coupling almost choir-esque influence and haunting piano and strings with Malone’s own vocal quality and lyricism, the remix builds into an epic crescendo of emotion, dropping into a swelling wave of future inspiration with filtered saw lines and Malone’s echoing vocals guiding the track along each beat.
