Chris released two songs on the first HOWSLA compilation, a unique concept from Skrillex and his typically bass-oriented music label OWSLA. The success of these singles “Operator” and “I Want You” have brought him back into the spotlight of forward thinking house music.
The all star dj returns with a remix of Pell’s “Patience,” which is originally a hip-hop song. The lyrics flow on an unconventional, uptempo build. Chris spun his jacking house sound all over the remix, while paying tribute to Pell’s smooth voice. He managed to squeeze enough of the original sounds in, cutting the right parts of Pell’s verse.
