Marshmello and Selena Gomez have hit the Billboard charts hard this week as they’ve secured a #1 spot on the Dance/Electronic Charts and #33 on the Billboard Top 100 for their new collaboration “Wolves.”
Surprisingly, this is Marshmello’s first #1 on the Dance/Electronic Chart, despite the massive successes of both “Silence” and “Alone” (peaking at #2 and #9, respectively). This is Gomez’s second #1 on the chart, first as a lead artist, after hitting #1 as a feature on Zedd’s “I Want You To Know” in 2015, where it stayed for six weeks.
On the Billboard Top 100, the song shot from #88 to #35. This is Gomez’s 14th Top 40 hit in a row, 19th in total. And this is Marshmello’s first ever Top 40 hit in the Billboard Top 100, so kudos. His previous high was with “Silence” featuring Khalid, peaking at #42.
