Harry Potter fans will soon get to experience the wizarding world like never before!
From Niantic Labs, the same company behind Pokémon Go, comes Harry Potter: Wizards Unite — an augmented reality (AR) that will literally bring magic to its users. Warner Bros. Interactive and Portkey Games also co-developed the concept, set to hit our universe in 2018.
According to Niantic Labs, the app is official and soon will take over a neighborhood near you. The company’s AR games turn real-world streets, neighborhoods and cities into a global game board, and bring people together in a shared digital reality. 
Of the game, Niantic Labs states:
With Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, players that have been dreaming of becoming real life Wizards will finally get the chance to experience J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. Players will learn spells, explore their real world neighborhoods and cities to discover & fight legendary beasts and team up with others to take down powerful enemies.
Just thinking of all the hype surrounding Pokémon Go, we can’t imagine what kind of excitement Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will bring to us mortals!
