In a recent article, we discussed how part of Marshmello’s success stems from his ability to connect and interact with a younger demographic than most other dance music artists, tapping into a market that’s been largely ignored for years. But can the same be said for the elderly? The answer… maybe.
Our friends at Fine Bros Entertainment put it to the test with their Elders React series, showing our esteemed elders some of Marshmello’s biggest hits, like “Alone,” “Moving On,” and “Silence.”
For the most part, they liked it. They weren’t super enthusiastic about it, but they found it “pleasant” and “lively.” Some of them just didn’t quite get it, but that’s not all that unexpected. They also have their own thoughts on Marshmello’s helmet and anonymity.
