Mixing various genres is no easy task. However, Beauz seem to do it effortlessly on their new single “Not That Brave” with the help of Lenii. The duo Beauz have seen their success with releases on Armada and their win on the 2016 “Quicksand” remix competition hosted by APEK and Feenixpawl. Lenni is new to the game, hailing from Ireland, and possessing the talent to produce, DJ, and sing.
It doesn’t take long to realize that this is a winning combo. While there are elements to the track that are undeniably dance oriented, the triplet, swing feel of the lead synths breathes life in to an otherwise stale format. The shifting and evolving bass lines keep the track moving while vocal chops give us a strong melody to dance to.
