Halloween 2017 is right around the corner. While most of our friends and families are going to be enjoying the festivities by watching horror movies, carving pumpkins and getting candy (or getting smashed), Tokyo Machine is celebrating the holiday with a “SPOOKY” new tune.
Fans that have come to love Tokyo Machine’s cutesy, chiptune-influenced breaks music are going to be in for quite a shock with “SPOOKY,” with the producer departing – almost completely – from the sound we have come to know and love.
However, this change is deserves more praise than it does criticism; “SPOOKY” is Tokyo Machine’s heaviest track to date. Rather than focusing on bright melodies and a danceable beat, “SPOOKY” shifts its attention to distorted kicks and bone-rattling basslines. Mixing together elements of trap, hardstyle and dubstep together with its eerie melody, Tokyo Machine seems to have crafted the ultimate Halloween banger.
