The Seven Lions collaboration that Kill The Noise first teased back in March is finally here in all its glory.
Entitled “Cold Hearted,” the song seamlessly combines and contrasts Seven Lions’ very pretty, melodic brand of dubstep with Kill The Noise’s more hard-hitting take on the genre in a combination of styles that will make you want to feel the feels and bang your head simultaneously. It might be a bit strange, but it somehow ends up working harmoniously in the end.
Interestingly enough, “Cold Hearted” was chosen to be released through Monstercat, a label that Kill The Noise has never been affiliated with before. His debut on the label is a part of Monstercat’s insane Uncaged Vol. 3 roster additions, which include Ookay, Lookas, Delta Heavy, Jay Cosmic, and Sullivan King. Needless to say, KTN is in good company.
The track seems to have been released in anticipation of Seven Lions’ co-headlining “Horizon” tour with Tritonal, of which Kill The Noise will also be joining for the entirety. The tour starts tomorrow in New York City and will extend into mid-December. A full list of dates and tickets can be found here.
