Android Users Can Now Take 60 Seconds Snaps Like The iOS Kids [Here’s How]

Snapchat hack: Did you know you can now record 60-second videos through your app?

Until just recently, Android users had to sum up their moments in just 10-second captures, but the app has implemented 60-second sharing capabilities to match the iOS feature. Now, you can capture even more of that drop, or hilarious thing your BFF is doing with no interruptions.

First up, make sure your app is updated. If you’re not able to take minute-long videos in your app, it’s probably because you don’t have the latest version of the software. With that out of the way, we can continue.

To record anything longer than 10 seconds, all you have to do is hold down the record button — and keep holding it down for your desired amount of time up to 1 minute. The video will appear as six 10-second snaps, popping up one by one on the bottom of your phone’s screen. Ditch some if it gets too lengthy by sliding the frames into the trash, or edit them individually.

This multi-snap feature was first introduced in July for iOS users, but now Androids can join in on the fun.

Happy Snapping, everyone!
