Imagine you’re just going along, loving life, doing your thing and you’re hit with the news that you have a potentially life-threatening disease? How on earth does one respond to that… Well, that’s what happened to Chris Mercer, better known as dubstep pioneer Rusko earlier this year. Back in May, Chris made the official announcement that he had been diagnosed with Gastric Lymphoma, a type of stomach cancer, but then later found out it is actually Lymphona (full body – blood cancer). Chris chose to cancel all of his upcoming shows to focus on his health and he has since been undergoing chemotherapy.
Rusko shares his current battle with cancer, cancer treatment, and the sacrifices he’s had to make to focus on his health.
