Taking on an almost Seven Lions type tone to build into the next drop, Kai Wachi shows his more experimental side with a combination of bass and haunting instrumental samples that are an instant attention grabber.
Moving onto tracks like “Cutthroats” and “Kismet,” you’ll want to pull out your neck brace for recovery after these hit. Combining euphoric piano lines with absolute gnarly growls and screech basses, Kai Wachi shows why he has become such a major name in the bass world. 
His bonus track “No Games” brings hip hop elements and combines it with experimental trap to show more of Kai’s diversity as a producer, but the real gem of the Die Young EP is his single “LUVSICK” featuring Ylti. Combining crazy hip hop elements and quickly building the energy with haunting keys, “LUVSICK” hits you right in the face with one of the gnarliest bass lines this year.
