In the wake of the disturbing rape claim against The Gaslamp Killer, his long-running residency with Low End Theory has been terminated.
The weekly party series based in LA has been associated with William Bensussen for some time, but has decided to cut ties due to the nature of the allegations made against him. In addition, he was supposed to appear at Low End Theory’s New York City event yesterday — but it was cancelled in light of the situation.
“Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival has chosen to cancel the Low End Theory show. This is not the appropriate time to present these artists in light of the allegations that were made last night,” the event’s page wrote in a social media post. 
Low End Theory’s official statement was cut and dry — in just two sentences the party series ended its relationship with the producer.
