The Wynn Resort in Las Vegas Implements Airport-Style Security Following Shooting

Las Vegas Las Vegas

Security measures for music festivals and hotels are being totally reevaluated across the country after the terrifying Las Vegas shooting happened at Route 91 Harvest

The Wynn resort in Las Vegas took notes from airport-style security checks on Monday afternoon following the attack, as guards were instructed to scan visitors with metal-detectors and inspect bags. This new security protocol could very well become the norm, and will likely be in effect as travelers hit up events large-scale outdoor events like Electric Daisy Carnival in Sin City.

Entertainment venues, casinos, and other buildings that hold events, in Las Vegas and beyond, must take a more aggressive approach to security — in careful consideration of rooftops and potential vantage points that could result in an attack form any which angle.

Although we might experience 10 minute wait times checking into hotels from here on out, its reassuring to know safety is being put first.
