Many shows in Las Vegas have been canceled in wake of the mass shooting at Route 91 Harvest music festival last night.
A spokesperson for MGM Resorts, which owns Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, reported to ET that Monday’s shows at all of its properties have been called off. The chain is home to Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE, among other Vegas attractions.
Furthermore, all Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group productions in Las Vegas on Monday have been canceled.
TAO Group, which includes the Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announced it would be closed on Monday. A set from DJ Ruckus has also been canceled.
Penn & Teller also canceled their Monday performance following the tragic mass shooting, a rep told ET: “Out of respect for our Las Vegas community and the tragedy of last night’s events, Penn & Teller have canceled tonight’s performance at The Rio Hotel & Casino.”
Hakkasan Group said its working with authorities and putting the “well-being of our guests and our staff” first. The company’s Omnia night club at Caesars Palace is expected to host Steve Aoki on Tuesday, while Lil Jon takes on MGM Grand’s Hakkasan club on Tuesday. No word yet on if these shows will go on for certain.
Shows scheduled for later in the week include Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez.
