By all accounts, September was a great month for music. Probably one of, if not the best all year round. Plenty of our favourite heavyweights like ODESZA, Kaskade, Hardwell, Skrillex, Kygo, Galantis, Illenium, DJ Snake and more all put out new singles, EPs, or even albums.
First things first, A Moment Apart might just be our favourite album of the year thus far. ODESZA’s been quiet since 2014’s In Return but they’ve certainly announced their return in style with a stunning new album and a massive arena tour as well.
Speaking of albums, Galantis followed up on Pharmacy with The Aviary. A cool collection of 12 dance-pop hits new and old including “No Money,” “Love On Me” and our pick for the playlist, “Tell Me You Love Me.” Illenium too delivered with his sophomore album Awake. Melodic dubstep’s ambassador delivered with euphoric hits like our pick of the bunch, “Beautiful Creatures.” 
While all of those other albums were heavily anticipated, Kaskade and Kygo took a more subtle route surprising us all with their new EPs Stargazing and Redux EP 002 respectively.
Finally, as always, we were blessed with plenty of choice singles. DJ Snake led the way with “A Different Way.” Skrillex dropped “Deadbeat” while San Holo, Don Diablo, Jauz, Zeds Dead and more rounded it all off.
