Alan Walker made Bilboard‘s 21 Under 21 2017: Music’s Next Generation list, coming in at #13 this year… The 20-year-old has made a statement in the electronic music scene in just a short time, thanks to his 2015 breakout “Faded” and everything that followed.
Billboard states: Alan Walker’s first single “came out of nowhere, but the dance track charted in 32 countries and led to opening slots on tour with Rihannaand Justin Bieber.”
As for the Norwegian-British producer, he’s just living out his dream: “Never give up on achieving [your] dreams, because one can never know what awaits around the corner.”
Other “21 Under 21” artists include Shawn Mendes, Lorde, and Khalid (at #1, #2 and #3 respectively) — and tons of EDM crossover vocalists including Camila Cabello, Hailee Steinfeld, Noah Cyrus, and Daya. Walker stands as the only artist on the list solely repping electronic music.
