Skrillex & Medasin Chatted via FaceTime Over “Humble” Controversy, Yet Nothing Has Changed

All eyes and ears are on Skrillex, as he finally released his much-anticipated remix for Kendrick Lamar‘s “Humble.” Attention has quickly shifted though, from the bass heavy trap song itself to how familiar it sounds to another under the name of “Territory” by Medasin (more on that here).

At first glance, Medasin’s tweet showing the two video chatting seems promising. Unfortunately, even after a friendly producer-to-producer FaceTime between the two, it doesn’t seem as though much has been solved (just keep scrolling)…

Apparently, this isn’t as simple as sharing ice cream flavors and making up. Medasin just went off on Twitter, clearly fumed by the fact he thinks Skrillex directly stole from him, but more so by fans saying he just wants attention…

There are even some since deleted tweets regarding a hypothetical lawsuit…

Medasin seems to be putting the controversy to rest with the following video which plays “Humble” (Skrillex Remix) and his own “Territory” back to back.

“…decide for yourself cause I’m tired of being called the bad guy,” Medasin says.
