RÜFÜS DU SOL was declared best of the best in live performance by the first-ever Electronic Music Awards last night…
The alternative dance group took home “Live Act of the Year” over Bob Moses, Bonobo, Eric Prydz, Flume and Porter Robinson & Madeon. While it was a tough call in that super stacked category, the live vocals and instrumentation does set RÜFÜS DU SOL apart from much of electronic music as far as performances go.
The EMAs were broadcast live via Twitter from Los Angeles, CA last night, under the designated hashtag #EMAwards. Producers, DJs, and industry professionals joined together to celebrate the genre with the very first awards show exclusively for electronic music.
