Over the course of a few years Desert Hearts has been able to craft a strong loyal community across the country and because of that, plus a little hard work, they have finally announced the creation of City Hearts Festival, which will be taking place at the Los Angeles Center Studios on November 12th.
City Hearts Festival will be the ultimate showcase of the journey that Desert Hearts has been on that has brought so many of us together. Not only will music lovers get their fill with house and techno alike but they will be able to dive deeper into their experience and be a part of the scene’s most evered visual artists, vendors, healers, yogis and more.
But the kind acts of Desert Hearts don’t stop there, they want this event to mark a change in action with their newly formed charity division, Helping Hearts. By engaging with their followers on a day leading up to the festival as well as donating 25% of ticket sales to Downtown LA Mission, an organization set on helping the homeless in the Los Angeles area, Desert Hearts hopes to extend the ideology of their community and movement to their new urban home.
All of this is being done too while Desert Hearts is in the midst of their largest tour to date across the country, something that is no easy feat for anyone.
