As far as remixed artists go, ZHU is fairly high up on that list. The recent wave of ZHU remixes seemed to have ended but thankfully for us, French producer Khamsin missed that memo pushing ahead with this smooth new remix for “Hometown Girl.”
The producer retains the slick atmosphere of the original while transforming the instrumental and turning “Hometown Girl” into an upbeat jam. Khamsin also shows off his penchant for great sound design once again. The melodies are superb and the reworked drop really brings out the best in the vocals.
