The return of Avicii sparked his gorgeous 6-track Avīci EP last month, and it’s songs like this that truly show off exactly why we missed his presence in dance music. The progressive house track peppers in just enough pop to be considered a crossover track, but remains incredibly Avicii.
When compared to the rest of the Avīci EP, “Lonely Together” featuring Rita Ora is the spunkiest take on Avicii’s sound — it’s the epitome of short and sweet but somehow leaves nothing left to be desired. Much like the song itself, the video delivers a satisfying little tale of two lovers that find together to be a little less lonely.
