It’s a lovely Sunday afternoon so you know what that means, another batch of fresh new dance records handpicked from the Your EDM Spotify team! This week Galantis makes the headlines with their brand new album Aviary while Kygo makes his mark with a new remix.
Aviary saw the duo depart from their progressive house sound and firmly establish themselves as one of the new dance/pop crossover acts to watch. “Tell Me You Love Me” is a sugary collaboration with house music’s Throttle and the perfect example of the duo’s new sound.
San Holo and Illenium put out two huge new singles this week in “I Still See Your Face” and “Leaving” respectively. While one showed off his singing for the first time, the other unveiled the last single before his next album Awake.
Alan Walker gave us another do-over of a previous NCS track in “The Spectre,” borne out of 2015’s “Spectre.” The last time Alan Walker gave us one of those was “Faded” which has since crossed 714 million streams on Spotify so expect something big!
There was also a slew of slick new releases to enjoy. DROELOE gave us a vibey take on “Boys” by Charli XCX, Kygo turned U2’s latest single “You’re The Best Thing About Me” into a smooth radio jam and Jamie xx switched up one of his previous productions, “On Hold” by The xx.
