The widow of the late Chester Bennington of Linkin Park has spoken out about suicide in her most personal social media post ever.
In the wake of her husband’s death, Talinda Bennington has shared a glimpse into the fun loving side of Chester that was shining brightly less than a couple of days before tragedy struck. While hanging out with family and friends, he seemed to be fine.
“I’m showing this so that you know that depression doesn’t have a face or a mood,” Talinda explained. “This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him.”
Judging by the video below, Chester looked incredibly happy, which goes to show how deeply depression can affect someone no matter the circumstances.
We can’t imagine what Talinda has gone through, or how tough the decision must have been to share the video below for the world to see — but we’re glad she did, in hopes it will enlighten more people about depression.
