Rudimental’s last album was all the way back in 2015, but they just released a new single “Sun Comes Up” back in June that bleeds those summer vibes. And while the original is great, don’t get us wrong, this new remix from Tritonal definitely kicks things up a notch with a true house feel.
Of the original, Rudimental says:
“We’re so excited to release our new single ‘Sun Comes Up,’ a song we wrote about overcoming adversity. We spent a long time looking for the right singer for it, and were close to giving up until we met James Arthur; he sang it and we were blown away. We aren’t afraid of taking new directions, and our new material has stepped up to another level. We’ve traveled the world far and wide and finally we feel like we’ve returned home on this album. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
Whereas the original had an effortless and tropical swagger to it, Tritonal adds a beautifully infectious house beat that is even more of an earworm. Both versions of the track are absolutely wonderful, and each has its place at a show or for a mood, but right now we’re feeling the Tritonal remix a lot.
