UPDATE: Representatives for Porter Robinson have reached out to let us know that the information in Mr Pinto’s Instagram is 100% false. Porter Robinson’s “Worlds” live show will continue for the foreseeable future.
Ultra Japan is going down this weekend with KSHMR, Hardwell, Tiesto, Pendulum, Tchami, The Chainsmokers, Alesso, Steve Angello, Kygo, Knife Party, and Porter Robinson and more headlining the event.
While all the acts are worth noting, there’s one in particular that may be making music history. As pointed out by a fan on Reddit (r/porterrobinson) the host of Ultra Japan might have just given away some vital info about the producer’s set.
Damian Pinto posted the lineup on Instagram, and then commented the following:
“Don’t miss [Porter Robinson’s] last live set ‘Especially Programmed’ for this special show at the ‘Live Stage’ this year…”
By “last live set,” we’re thinking he means last live Worlds set, which means the end of an era. It also means anyone who hasn’t yet seen the epic show should book a flight to Japan stat.
