Apple Reveals The iPhone X & It’s Quite Literally “The Future Of Smartphones”

Starting at $999, let’s be real… this is the iPhone we’ve all been waiting for.

Announcing the iPhone X. Phonetically called the iPhone “ten.” It’s bezel-free, home button-free, comes in Space Grey and Silver, and is built almost entirely around the Super Retina Display. It boasts a 5.8″ screen with over 2.7 million pixels and OLED technology. One of the main features here is Face ID. Basically, the iPhone X will unlock simply by looking at it. Worried about Big Brother? Thankfully the face recognition engine is stored on your phone and only your phone, not a separate and vulnerable server. Face ID works with Apple Pay and other apps and the chance of someone to have the same Face ID as you is 1 in 1,000,000.

The iPhone X boasts 12MP dual cameras, f1.8 and 2.4 on the telephoto. Dual OIS, which is “a lot of magnets moving around in a very small space” but should help make the iPhone’s photos even better. Zero shutter lag helps to freeze motion. The front facing cameras are also improved to make your next selfie better than ever.

The iPhone X has the same chip as the iPhone 8, the new super fast A11 Bionic. It’s powered by a stronger battery life which supports wireless charging.

Dubbed “the future of the smartphone,” we’re inclined to agree.

Pre-Order October 27th, available November 3rd for $999.

If this is out of your price range we recommend you check out the all new iPhone 8 here.
