Alesso’s Management Contract With ATM Expires, Signs With Shots Studios

The EDM industry has seen its fair share of power managers in the last decade or so but few, unlike Amy Thomson who at her pinnacle managed the careers of Swedish House Mafia, Chase & Status, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and more. And until very recently, one such client was Alesso who has just revealed that his contract with ATM Artists (Thomson’s firm) expired and he was moving on to join Shots Studios after seven years with Thomson.

Unlike a traditional management firm, Shots Studios CEO and CCO John and Sam Shahidi first cut their teeth managing budding YouTube stars and focusing on digital marketing and digital content creation. Since then, they’ve moved into the music world signing Anitta and Poo Bear. Alesso is their first high profile artist signing. “We’re building something big here. John and Sam [Shahidi] have put together an amazing team. After meeting with them and learning more about the Shots vision, joining them was a no-brainer.”

Judging by Shot’s Studios other acts, expect to see Alesso start to ramp up his YouTube presence and cross-collaborate with Shot’s Studios other mega YouTube stars including Hannah Stocking, Rudy Mancuso and Lele Pons among others.
